MORE SINGLE FAMILY HOMES AVAILABLE

Inventory rose 4% in the single-family home resale market during October according to a Market Report issued by the Naples Area Board of REALTORS. Unlike the condominium market, where the overall inventory level dropped 7%, existing single-family home availability rose from 2,128 in October 2014 to 2,210 this past October. My observations also reveal a remarkable upswing in activity in the Immokalee/Ave Maria sub-market. Overall inventory increased the highest percentage in this area compared to the other geographic areas. The neighborhoods inventory of single-family homes rose 24%. And at the same time, had the highest increase in median closed price, rising 46% from a median closed price of $151,000 in the 12-months ending October 2014 to $220,000 in the 12-months ending this October.
